The Human Touch

I still practice medicine the old-fashioned way
I still listen to what a patient has to say
Don't care about e-mails and faxes and such
Cause medicine is all about the human touch

I still practice medicine like a work of art
I teach from my knowledge and heal from my heart
Don't care if your health cov'rage doesn't cover much
Cause medicine is all about the human touch.

Feel the pulse, with each and ev'ry beat
The rhythm of life, feel it in your feet
Feel it in your spirit, feel it in your soul
The rhythm of life makes us more whole.

I still practice medicine at a patient pace
I still practice hand to hand, and face to face
You're sending e-mails through the skies
While I'm on earth with my ears and eyes.
Using your computer you can't feel much
It's just a crutch. Yeah ---
Medicine is all about the human touch.
